Guys, just a note. The King may seem like a Saint here, but remember this is Esau's father he's talking about. And of course, as time goes, stories about the King are meant to preserve his greatest moments, not his failures (unless there's an important lesson to learn from them or he came out victorious or such).
Of course he'd going to sound like the greatest guy ever. And he's not bad in the least, but he's also not perfect. We'll see more about that near the end.
I got just a little confused.
For the longest time I thought that they were talking about the oldest son, who will be marrying Claire.
But I'm guessing that there are two Eliots? The King and the oldest son?
Because all of a sudden, I noticed "Father" in the mix. And I also saw Evan and Emery, who would be the son Eliot's brothers, right?
Ahhh, and I've been trying so hard not to get confused by their names…
I guess to some people, marrying the king does not fit under the "peaceful and quiet" category. I love this comic--I can boo and hiss at all the jerks being mean to Eric, but within this world, it makes sense that having Hartley and her son around would step on some toes. (That won't stop me from booing and hissing at aforementioned jerks, of course. Eric is a precious little jewel!)
I already love Hartley. That expression on her face is hilarious. And despite Eric's shyness (and the fact that this is only the first page we're officially seeing Hartley), I can already see how very alike they are. I can't wait for the next update.
For me the king don't looks like a Saint, at all, actually, he's most like a Ladies Man.
Whatever, I just wanted to say something and express how much I love this comic! Really, I've been reading this since last year, but I never left a comment (because my english is/was poor and also I am a shy person...).
You do such a great work! Keep the awesome work Miss, your comic is really funny!
